Noctuna is a free Android app with 21 illustrated bedtime stories and no ads, in-app purchases or account. Read the stories together, or let the phone narrate while a sleep timer ends the story on its own.
Why ads don't belong at bedtime
The last ten minutes before sleep should get calmer, not busier. An advert that pops up mid-story, a bright banner, or a button that leads to a purchase all pull a child back awake. Noctuna has none of them.

Built for the end of the day
Screens are dark and low-light. Nothing plays automatically after a story ends. The stories are inside the app, so it works in flight mode, and settings sit behind a grown-up lock with a simple maths question.
